About Me

I am a Senior Lecturer at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), Austria, where I teach a variety of computer science subjects.I enjoy teaching, exploring different approaches to learning, and contributing to the development of computer science curricula. Alongside teaching, my research focuses on artificial intelligence, particularly diagnosis, and computer science and software engineering education.

Teaching

“Education is not about what students remember for an exam, but about what they understand, connect, and carry with them beyond the classroom.”

I believe that good teaching goes beyond explaining concepts. It is about sparking curiosity, making connections between theory and practice, and creating an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and learn from their mistakes. My teaching combines structure and clear learning goals with interaction, practical examples, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm and humor.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching computer science since 2015, covering a broad range of subjects, including algorithms and data structures, operating systems, networks, software maintenance, and web technologies.Beyond the classroom, I contribute to curriculum development at TU Graz and internationally as a member of the ACM/IEEE-CS IT2027 task force. I also have a German-language introductory machine learning course on LinkedIn Learning.
